so happy to be writing to you again - this time in september! this month was quiet and slower. it was a time of reflecting on everything that happened this year (with three months left to go)!
i centered myself on the question of WHY: why i started augustnoa, why our products are different, and why our community believes and supports us. after meditating on our core values, i felt reignited with the passion to continue to grow this community with more purpose than ever before.
we finalized our creative direction and are so excited to show you everything that's to come, kicking it off with new products for the holidays. i really think you guys will LOVE the products. my friends and family have been patiently waiting for MONTHS. i can’t wait to show you all the products and creative vision. COMING SOON!
as you know, august was a crazy month (in the best way). i went on a much-needed trip to LA and Malibu. i spent much of my time at the beach, getting recharged and rejuvenated. of course, i also ate my way through the city. i found the best matcha at Community Goods and enjoyed a dreamy, intimate farm-to-table experience where I got to meet the most incredible and creative people.
in september, i also met thousands of you all at Renegade Chicago. thank you for stopping by to say hi! i loved hearing about your augustnoa adventures with our augustnoa backpack classic noa: backpacking through Asia, returning to grad school, and starting a new job! nothing is more fulfilling than seeing you guys wearing our products IRL and receiving in-person feedback. you are the core of everything that we do, and i hope to continue designing products you’ll love. from your feedback, i decided to start a new series - building augustnoa - on TikTok where i focus on one aspect of the business I’m working on each day. thank you for the positivity so far. with that, i hope you guys are ready for the rest of the year. it’s about to be a wild ride.until next time,
